Aligned with the UK government's commitment to achieving net zero carbon by 2050, the framework integrates sustainable and greener delivery options, supporting members in reducing the environmental impact of NHS services. With regional and national suppliers employing qualified personnel, the framework ensures the well-being of patients and the secure delivery of items.

• As the Framework has awarded both national and regional (SME) suppliers, Beneficiaries have the ability to select a provider who best meets their needs taking into account cost, services capability and environmental considerations.
• Framework sets upper pricing limits - pricing can be less than, but not more than the providers upper limit pricing value.
• The ability to benchmark providers without the need to approach each supplier individually or conduct a further / mini-competition.
