The Hub team had a busy, immersive conference, participating as delegates, speakers and event partner exhibitors at the recent Procurement for Health England 2024 (P4H) event at NEC Birmingham.
Our stand was brimming all day. Visitors, mostly suppliers, got the chance to meet and engage with Hub procurement specialists who were joined by MD Howard Rolfe and Procurement Director, Rachel Naylon.
“P4H is a great opportunity to meet current and potential suppliers to the NHS. It is particularly interesting to hear of new products and innovative ideas that could prove beneficial to the health service,” said Howard.
In the Skills Development Zone, Joe Bassett, Assistant Director of Procurement, Pharmacy, gave a talk to delegates about working with the market to support collaborative pharmacy procurement.
“Working closely as we do with NHS and supplier stakeholders to design, capture and benchmark key performance indicators with the region is critical to effective delivery and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical services,” said Joe.
As a partner organisation of NHS Workforce Alliance, the Hub also supported the Alliance stand. Hub procurement specialist Matthew Green was on hand to answer any questions about workforce.
