Following on from our recent celebration of Hanna Chipchase’s Customer Service Award, we are delighted to share more about the impact she is making at the Hub.
At EOECPH, Hanna is known for her unique blend of knowledge and people skills. Her ability to combine technical expertise with a genuine commitment to service in a clear, responsive and professional manner means that Hanna plays a pivotal role in our Digital team.
Her work focuses on supporting Trust level and collaborative procurements across a wide range of IT solutions and services, helping NHS colleagues access the right tools and systems that enable the smooth operational running of Trusts and support the delivery of safe, efficient and future-proofed patient care.
Hanna has provided support across a variety of IT procurements, including mobile voice and data, managed print, e-archiving and ICS wide risk management and policy management solutions. Regionally, she supported the EOE Secure Data Environment procurement activities and is currently supporting the EOE Crisis Text Support Service and cross ICS HR Chatbot procurements.
She and the team work closely with NHS colleagues to understand their needs, working in partnership to deliver robust and compliant procurements that meet the requirements and deliver best outcomes.
Hanna’s day-to-day includes:
- Engagement with procurement and digital teams, supporting both BAU needs and strategic objectives;
- Supporting pipeline reviews to enable proactive planning for upcoming procurements;
- Highlighting collaboration opportunities, including regional/national initiatives;
- Ensuring procurement compliance for their stakeholders, advising on route to market options and procurement regulations;
- Input into strategy/board papers and attendance at governance meetings as procurement subject matter expert;
- Running procurement processes, including further competitions under Frameworks/DPS and bespoke projects;
- Supporting contract negotiations through to signature.
This blend of experience, knowledge and people skills has a real impact: helping the NHS harness digital solutions that support the NHS digital transformation goals our NHS Trusts, while ensuring value for money and long-term resilience.
