Aseptic Cleanroom Consumables and Laundry Services framework – fourth iteration now live

Safe and effective aseptic services rely on much more than equipment alone. From garments and consumables to laundry services and detergents, every element plays an important role in maintaining compliance and supporting patient care. To help organisations access these essential products and services, the East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (the Hub) has launched the fourth iteration of its Aseptic Cleanroom Consumables and Laundry Services framework.

Supporting safe and compliant aseptic services

Every organisation’s aseptic service is slightly different, but many face the same challenge: securing high-quality products and services while achieving value for money. The framework provides a flexible route to market that supports both local requirements and procurement best practice.

The framework supports organisations to standardise requirements and commit volumes where appropriate, while accessing competitive pricing, rental rates and supplier discounts. Available through a call-off with competition or a call-off without competition, it includes four lots:

  1. Disinfectants and detergents
  2. Reusable garments and laundry services
  3. Disposable garments
  4. Cleanroom consumables

What’s new in the fourth iteration

The fourth iteration introduces enhancements that offer greater flexibility:

  • A wider range of services and products
  • Access to a broader supplier base
  • Bespoke sterile transfer sets tailored to a trust’s specific requirements
  • Alignment with national guidance and regulations
  • Flexible laundering options, including split rental, hire-only and processing-only services

These changes help organisations access the products and services they need while supporting compliance and operational efficiency.

Building a complete aseptic solution
