Homecare Sourcing Group

The Homecare Sourcing Group was established within the East of England in 2008 and this group is currently represented on the National Homecare Medicines Committee. The sourcing group works to provide best practice guidance to Trusts and develop tools to aid with the implementation of effective homecare services in line with national guidance toward compliance with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society Professional Standards for Homecare Medicines Services.

Terms of Reference

The group's terms of reference are available here:  Terms of Reference - EoE Homecare Sourcing Group - 2022.pdf.

Chair

The Homecare Sourcing Group is currently transitioning to a rotational chair model from within the group’s membership. This provides a great progression opportunity for local homecare professionals in the region and helps to ensure the Homecare Sourcing Group remains focussed on delivering tangible benefits for its members.

Membership

Membership to the East of England Homecare sourcing group is open to any member trust of the EoECPH centralised homecare governance model. The group includes representation from local homecare pharmacists, technicians and assistants as well as pharmacy procurement leads and chief/deputy chief pharmacists.

The EoECPH would like to encourage new membership specifically from commissioning organisations, both local CCG and NHS E, funding homecare medicines services in the East of England.
