This Framework Agreement was awarded under The Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015).
This framework agreement is split into lots covering the main waste services contracted by the NHS and wider public sector bodies. It aims to provide a compliant route to market for contracting authorities for a safe, sustainable, and efficient waste management service.
Suppliers are ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified (or equivalent) and have the necessary capability to manage various waste streams, including healthcare waste, clinical waste, confidential waste, reusable sharps, washroom waste, WEEE, IT disposal, and uniforms and textiles.
Healthcare waste suppliers comply with HTM 07-01 guidelines.
