Teleradiology is the remote interpretation of radiological images, enabling radiologists to provide diagnostic services without being physically present where the images are captured.

This service is increasingly critical or addressing the shortage of radiologists, improving access to specialist expertise, and offering 24/7diagnostic coverage, particularly in rural or underserved areas.

The UK teleradiology market is growing rapidly, driven by advancements in digital technologies, AI integration, and the demand for efficient healthcare services.

The framework also supports what was formally known as Targeted Lung Health Check Programme but has since been renamed to NHS Lung Cancer Screening Programme. For this Lot suppliers were evaluated against NHS Standard Protocol and the Quality Assurance Standards for these services.

The framework is conducted under PSR so is only open to trusts within England that fall in the following criteria: NHS England; integrated care boards (ICBs); NHS trusts and NHS foundation trusts; local authorities and combined authorities.
