Maxillofacial Oral Surgery Surplus Demand Clinical Services (Ref: 2021/S 000-012881)
Background
The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub addresses the increased demand for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS). The framework provides clinical support for OMFS surplus demand services, offering both insourced and outsourced capacity to meet rising demands and reduce waiting lists. Awarded as a single lot, the framework allows trusts to choose between on-site services at their premises or at the provider's premises.
The services include a range of orthodontic and maxillofacial procedures, performed either on an outpatient basis under local anaesthesia or conscious sedation, or on an inpatient basis under general anaesthetic for more complex surgeries. The framework aims to offer sustainable, local solutions, ensuring patient care remains a top priority.
