All of our frameworks have been designed to deliver real impact to the communities we serve.

Highlights

  • All ambulance staff who are directly involved with patient treatment will be able to share important information quickly
  • The EPR system will give an accurate picture of patients’ medical history
  • Quicker access to records means ambulance staff will be able to provide more effective and efficient care
  • Complete audit trail for stored information, the system will provide an audit on who has access patient data
  • The EPR system has full data back ups, so there is no risk of any data being lost or damaged

The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub is working collaboratively with the National Ambulance Procurement Board to procure Electronic Patient Record System for the Ambulance Services across England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Isle of Wight. The framework has been endorsed by NHS England Digital and Technology Commercial Category Team and the framework will be available on the NHS England website as a recommended route to market for digital and IT spend across the NHS.

The system will be available to the Ambulance trusts with the system used on mobile devices to allow ambulance crews to record patient data electronically, fully replacing a paper-based system.
