Why this framework matters to you
This agreement covers all clinical systems and compliantly allows for innovation of supplier products. Set up as a single lot framework, it covers all EPR, PAS, Radiology, Pathology, Shared Care Record, Pharmacy, Patient Support and Specialist Clinical Solutions that encompasses a catalogue approach allowing suppliers to add products through the framework term.
All products covered by this framework must meet a standard set of core functional compliance requirements.
Any procurement for Electronic Patient Record System Solutions, PAS, EPMA, LIMS, or other complex digital solutions should be procured via the further competition process.
Direct Award for such solutions should not be used as it goes against commercial best practice and reduces competition. NHS England have confirmed that the use of Direct Award for these solutions will invalidate a Trusts’ eligibility to claim any present or future central funding for digitisation and transformation.
