Ambulance and Specialist Vehicle Conversions (Ref: 2021/S 000-008133)
Background
The framework agreement for Ambulance and Specialist Vehicle Conversions has been created in partnership with NHS England and NHS Improvement and is intended to:
Provide a procurement compliant route to market for ambulance trusts and their subsidiaries to procure Ambulance and Specialist Vehicle Conversions; support the recommendation of Lord Carter’s review into unwarranted variation in NHS ambulance trusts; provide a procurement route to support and enable standardisation and collaboration; provide a funding stream based on a small supplier levy to assist trusts via NHS England and NHS Improvement and the National Strategic Ambulance Fleet Group in future innovation projects.
