The NHS England-NHS Workforce Alliance East of England Regional Medical Forum is set to take place in Cambridge on Wednesday 29 January 2025, 10am – 2pm.

As part of the Temporary Staffing Efficiency Programme (TSEP) our NHS England regional colleagues will lead the event, giving an overview of their national work and how this applies to the East of England region.  Speakers include Dr Edward Morris, Regional Medical Director and Chief Clinical Information Officer and Ann Corbyn, Regional Head of Workforce, Culture and OD.

This forum, for NHS organisations in the East of England, will discuss medical agency and bank usage, with the ambition of developing a regional strategy and a sustainable operating model, as a collective.

The agenda includes a workshop session for generating ideas on how we can collaborate effectively and provide an opportunity for NHS colleagues from across the region to discuss strategies to reduce the reliance on high-cost medical agency staffing.
