| The Hub’s Workforce team is to host an NHS Workforce Alliance regional event, giving trusts an opportunity to discuss nursing agency usage and develop a collaborative regional strategy for removing off-framework and over price cap spend. Trust colleagues from across the region have been invited to attend the Alliance’s East of England Regional Nursing Forum on Thursday 25th April at Victoria House in Fulbourn, Cambridge. There will be a presentation by NHS England, giving an overview of their national work on the Temporary Staffing Efficiency Programme and how this applies to our region. The agenda includes a workshop session for generating ideas on how to collaborate effectively to implement a regional or system-led rate card. The aim is to create a rate card to meet regional demands whilst also being applicable and realistic for individual trusts. In addition to offering an opportunity for collaborative discussion on these challenging, topical issues in NHS Workforce, the forum will provide the chance to meet and network with colleagues over lunch.
