The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub is pleased to announce a new national agreement for the provision of Hybrid Outpatient Pharmacy Dispensing.  The framework is available to our member trusts, NHS Procurement in Partnership (NHS PiP) partner hubs’ members and other public bodies.

Hybrid Outpatient Pharmacy Dispensing gives participating authorities access to suppliers who have the capability to work collaboratively with them to flexibly deliver high-quality, hybrid dispensary service models. This encompasses on-site and remote service delivery.

This single lot framework has been created for use in complex and challenging environments not suitable for traditional outpatient dispensary services. For example:

• at multi-site provider trusts
• integrated care systems
• where there are hospital estates limitations
• where remote outpatient clinic models are used.

The framework provides for on-site hospital dispensary, on- and off-site satellite collection points and community pharmacy.

Please Note:

Excluded from the scope of this framework are any traditional outsourced outpatient pharmacy services which can be reasonably accommodated by the NHS Procurement in Partnership (NHS PiP) Pharmaceutical Services framework agreement (FTS: 2022/S 000-004671), delivered by NHS PiP partner hub, NHS North of England Commercial Procurement Collaborative (NHS NOE CPC).
