Avison Young, who were responsible for reducing the valuation basis for Hospitals and Health Centres for the 2017 Rating List, will provide invaluable insights into the rating valuation of Hospitals and Health Centres for the 2023 Rating List and how the increase in building costs will likely lead to substantial increases in business rates assessments from 1st April 2023 onwards.
 
A series of case studies where various mitigation strategies were employed to secure substantial savings for NHS Trusts and Health Boards throughout England and Wales will also be presented.
