The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub is pleased to announce a new framework agreement, Provision of Specialised Reporting for Heart and Lung Checks, which gives customers access to radiology reporting and image interpretation for heart and lung checks.   It is based on the standards and requirements provided by the NHSE pilot scheme for the Targeted Lung Health Checks Programme.  

Benefits of the framework include:

• Using consultant radiologists experienced in lung cancer screening / providing cardiothoracic radiology and meeting standards as per RCR and BSTI guidance for lung cancer screening.
• Contributing to improvements in patient care.
• Supporting the recognised pilot programmes currently being run by NHSE.
• Introducing a better option for suppliers through this framework.
• Sharing best practice and expertise.
• Offering focus and clarity for stakeholders and suppliers.
• Improving health through socially responsible procurement.
• Reducing environmental impact through socially responsible procurement.
