NHS England and NHS Improvement have issued a letter in regard to Vaccination as a Condition of deployment (VCOD) for all healthcare workers. The purpose of the letter and guidance is to support providers in preparing and planning for when the regulations which are subject to parliamentary passage are introduced.  

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC announced last month that individuals undertaking CQC regulated activities in England must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by no later than 1st April 2022. The regulations will apply equally across the public (NHS) and independent health sector. NHS Workforce Alliance will be writing directly to our suppliers to ensure they are meeting their obligations as a framework provider.
