Homecare Medicines Services (Ref: 2021/S 000-028751)

Request access to the framework

All of our frameworks have been designed to deliver real impact to the communities we serve.

Highlights

  • Wide choice of suppliers available across all lots
  • Competitive prices
  • Cost transparency through a clear pricing structure
  • Procurement of manufacturer funded services using pre-prepared templates and underpinned by NHS standard terms and conditions
  • Ability to benchmark/shortlist suppliers prior to approaching preferred suppliers individually
  • Greater independence and flexibility for patients

This framework, available to all publicly funded organisations, is anchored in the national standard template specification for homecare medicines services, tailored to address the current and future needs of member organisations.

The agreement is structured into six lots, encompassing Low-tech, Mid-tech, and High-tech homecare medicines services, along with specialised lots for antibiotic products, injectable chemotherapy, and a hub and spoke controlled pick-up model.

The framework agreement has fifteen suppliers across all lots, all offering a defined service which encompasses the safe, secure delivery of medicines to patients at home. As an unranked framework agreement, organisations are able to choose preferred providers through direct award based on local requirements, with further competitions permitted under all lots. Manufacturer-funded homecare medicines services are procurable under Lots 1 and 2 of this versatile framework.

Choosing a Hub framework isn’t about ticking a box; it’s about unlocking better outcomes, faster.
