Winners of the Hub Staff Awards are announced twice a year at our team away days in Fulbourn, Cambridge. They are presented with a star statuette by Howard Rolfe, MD and Rachel Alwin, Procurement Director. Congratulations to our fantastic winners and to all the talented, dedicated members of the Hub team who are nominated by their peers.
There are two types of awards:
- Above and Beyond Award – This award is typically given to individuals or teams who have exceeded expectations in their roles. It recognises those who go the extra mile, demonstrating exceptional dedication, creativity, or effort to achieve outstanding results.
- Customer Service Award -This award honours individuals or teams who provide exceptional service to customers. It highlights those who consistently deliver high-quality support, resolve issues effectively, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Gizem Michopoulos, Systems Process Lead – Operations: For her work in creating the MI dashboard and going over and above in reducing our procurement teams’ workloads in collecting data. Gizem also understood the importance of looking at framework usage and spend against value.

Megan Booth, Procurement Specialist – Corporate, Clinical and Regulation: For her adaptability, willingness and positive attitude towards our customers. For her proactive approach to problem-solving, consistently going above and beyond to ensure customers have the best experience possible.
